Visit the "new" Magee Beach which has recently undgergone a facelift that extended the shore for plenty of play. Because of its bay location, there is very little seaweed and no undertow making it a perfect location for children. Enjoy the view of sailboats, wind surfers or shrimpers hauling in their catch or turn street side to watch the pedal carts, rollerbladers and passersby.
The Hooks will play a 140-game schedule from April to September each summer, with at least 70 regular season home games. The Texas League is an eight-team league that currently includes five teams from Texas (Round Rock, Frisco, San Antonio, Midland and El Paso), and three teams from out of the state (Wichita, Tulsa and Arkansas).
