About the DMD

The Corpus Christi Downtown Management District is a not-for profit, professional downtown management organization, representing property owners within the area bounded by Kinney Street to I-37, and Lower Broadway to the T-Heads.
The District was created in 1993 at the request of private sector leadership. At that time, a special assessment was levied to provide the financial resources necessary to ensure programs to improve Downtown’s image.
Mission
The Corpus Christi Downtown Management District (DMD) is a state-authorized improvement district established and governed by property owners to influence and enhance a positive environment for Downtown's economic base.
